Sunday, June 28, 2026, Pastor Paul’s Last Sunday – Please join us for dinner at 6 PM! Paul Newhall’s term as Wesley Foundation Director will terminate June 30. Join us for the last meal with him.

Regular Events (which are ongoing)

Wesley Foundation’s Mothers’ Group holds meetings on Saturdays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the Wesley United Methodist Church nursery. Meetings will typically include unstructured playtime, a children’s activity, a parent activity or discussion, and snacks. For the most current information and updates, follow us on Facebook.

Our past events include baby shower, birthday parties, summer water-ball games, Girl’s trip, singing & leading worship in Church, furniture distribution, and trip to Midwest Mission to work.

Sunday, March 1, 2026 – Bishop David Bard is coming to the Foundation. He’ll be here to participate in our regular meal (6:30 pm) and worship (7:30 pm). Bishop Bard serves the Illinois Great Rivers Conference along with Bishop Kennetha J. Bigham-Tsai.

Monday, March 16, 2026, Work Trip to Springfield – We will be working together to serve at the Kumler Outreach Ministries. Kumler Outreach Ministries meets people where they live and serve and care in a variety of ways. We will leave at 8:15 am.

Friday, April 3, 2026, 6 pm, Good Friday Service – at Wesley Church. Pastor Don Long will be doing a drama. Address: 1212 W. Calhoun St.

Sunday, April 5, 2026, 1 pm, Easter Dinner at Newhall’s – Come to the Paul & Tes Newhall’s house in Galesburg for great food and fellowship. Contact the Foundation for more information and transportation.

Monday, April 12, 2026, 5-6:30 pm, Healthcare Power of Attorney Workshop – This information is highly recommended for all students who are over 18 years old.

Sunday, May 3, 2026, 8:30 am and 11 am, Fellheimer Sunday at Wesley Church – We will be honoring the music interns from WIU that have interned at Wesley Church. This internship program is celebrating 50 years. The services will include special music. Address: 1212 W. Calhoun St.

Saturday, May 16, 2026, 11 am – 1:30 pm, Graduation Party – Join us for a celebration party at the Foundation. Food and fellowship — it’s what we do! And this might be good-bye for some of our graduating friends!

Mon.-Thurs., May 11-14, 2026, 7:15-10 am, Final’s Week Breakfasts – Join us for breakfast! There will be Grab-and-Go and Sit-and-Visit options. Also, evening meals available at the Catholic Neman Center, Mon.-Thurs., 4-6 pm.

Sunday, June 14, 2026, Pastor Melly Momo’s Last Sunday – Join us at Wesley Church. We celebrate our friend and prayer warrior, Pastor Melly, as she prepares for her next chapter in ministry serving as Senior Pastor of Beardstown First United Methodist Church. The worship service at Wesley Church will be 9-10 am. Coffee fellowship will follow.

We will have a potluck celebration, 11:30 am – 1 pm. The church will provide baked and fried chicken, cheesy potatoes, rolls and butter, iced tea, lemonade, and water. Those attending may bring a main dish, salad, vegetable, or dessert to share. Please RSVP by June 10th by calling the church office at 309-833-2153. We hope you will join us for this special time of fellowship and celebration.

Sunday, June 14, 2026, 4-7 pm West District Youth Event – This is a fun evening for youth in the west district. We will have games, rice packing (hunger relief effort), dinner, and worship. Click for flier. Another flier here.

Saturday, June 20, 2026, Great Day Away, depart 9 am– We are making a trip to London Mills for a fun day of zip-lining, rock-climbing, a challenge course, and lunch. Wear closed-toed shoes. We will leave from the Wesley Foundation at 9 am. Please register (RSVP) with Pastor Paul, so we know how many are going.
